Who we are

The Moto Company (SARL) operates the following brands: The Moto Company, SL Data Tech, pro-photo.fr, RacePublish. This policy applies to all of these brands. See also our legal notice.

Data we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the data you voluntarily provide: name, email address, company (optional), and the content of your message.

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used exclusively to process your enquiry and reply to it. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. No other purpose (marketing offers, newsletter) is associated with this processing.

Data recipients

Your data passes through our internal automation tool (hosted on our own servers), which retains a technical copy for 7 days for debugging purposes, after which it is automatically deleted. Because this tool is self-hosted, your data is not transmitted to any third-party processor and does not leave the European Union.

Your data is then kept in our mailbox for as long as necessary to process your enquiry, then deleted. If no further action is taken, it is deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact.

If your enquiry leads to a business relationship, your data is then transferred to our customer relationship management (CRM) tool, under the legal basis of contract performance, with its own retention period.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool: it sets no cookies and collects no data that could identify you individually.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us via our contact form or at siege@themoto.company.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any change will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
